KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville soccer fans saw One Knoxville SC clinch a 2026 USL League One playoff berth Wednesday night as Nicola Rosamilia recorded a goal and assist in One Knoxville SC’s 3-0 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves SC at Covenant Health Park, with Teddy Baker and Denis Krioutchenkov also found the back of the net after the visitors were reduced to 10 men early in the first half.

League coverage noted Denis Krioutchenkov bags 10th goal of regular season in the clean-sheet win for the defending titleholders at their downtown home pitch.

A detailed local match report said the 24-year-old Rosamilia grabbed a goal and an assist in the rivalry drubbing, marking the third consecutive postseason appearance for the defending USL1 champion. The win moves back into fourth place in the standings on 51 points with two matches remaining. It was also the second win in three meetings with Chattanooga this year, with One Knox leading the Smoky Mountain Smackdown with a 6-5-2 record all-time.

Head Coach Ian Fuller, who was back on the sideline after serving a two-match suspension, said the side had endured a hard stretch without results and that it was good to come back that way at home. A Chattanooga red card set up a free kick goal from Teddy Baker 12 minutes into the match after defender Michael Knapp tripped Rosamilia on a break, drawing a denial-of-goal-scoring-opportunity send-off.

Baker struck the free kick over the wall into the top right corner. Rosamilia then doubled the lead in the 41st minute with a first-time finish after a deflected Stavros Zarakostas pass. In the 54th minute, Rosamilia fed Krioutchenkov after a turnover in the attacking third, and the rookie drove home his club-leading goal tally to 10 in USL1 play and 13 across all competitions.

One Knox limited Chattanooga to one shot on target while completing a clean sheet. Fuller praised Baker free kick and the group for keeping pressure on after the early man advantage. For Knoxville soccer fans, the playoff clinch at Covenant Health Park keeps the defending champions on track for a third straight postseason run with two regular-season games still to play.

City data lists Covenant Health Park among Knoxville sports venues, the same downtown pitch where One Knox lifted the League One trophy nearly a year ago and where Rosamilia again delivered on a high-stakes night.
