Dead Dog Found with Bag Tied Around Its Head in Knoxville Parking Lot Sparks Animal Cruelty Investigation

Officers from Young-Williams Animal Center (YWAC) were called to the scene at NHC Healthcare shortly after 7 a.m. They found a second dog in the parking lot that appeared to be alive and was unharmed. In addition to the deceased dog, a second similar bag was located at the site.

The surviving dog was promptly taken to YWAC for care and evaluation by their veterinary team. As of now, YWAC has announced that the rescued dog remains in their care for further monitoring and support.
