His passion for the outdoors was unmatched; he loved camping, hiking, and geocaching, especially in the stunning Rocky Mountains of Colorado and the serene beaches of Destin, Florida. You could often find him enjoying the sweet sounds of Bob Marley while exploring the great outdoors.
A dedicated fan of the Tennessee Volunteers, he made his home in Knoxville, where he met his wonderful wife, Grace Branton. Together, they created cherished memories with their family, including Grace’s daughter and their beloved dog, Frisco. Chad was known for his warmth and compassion, consistently expressing his love for his children and family. He is survived by his wife and several family members, including his father and children.
A memorial service will be held on March 15, 2025, at Mott-McKamey Funeral Home in Oak Ridge, TN.
Jerry Elliott Burnette, 54
