FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — No. 10 Tennessee volleyball hits the road for a pair of SEC matches this weekend, opening Friday at Arkansas at 8 p.m. Eastern Time on SECN Plus before closing the trip at Kentucky on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET.
The Lady Vols enter at 12-3 overall and 3-2 in the SEC after sweeping LSU on Sunday at Food City Center, 25-21, 25-23, 25-13. Tennessee finished with 50 kills and hit .333 in that match, its 11th sweep of the season.
Arkansas listed Tennessee as its Friday night home opponent on Oct. 16 when it released the full 2026 schedule, part of a four-match Barnhill Arena stretch that also included Texas, Texas A and M and Kentucky. The Hogs scheduled 15 SEC matches and 11 home dates at Barnhill this season.
Tennessee road trip continues Sunday against Kentucky, the reigning SEC champion on Arkansas schedule card. The Lady Vols will try to build on the LSU sweep as conference play deepens through mid-October.
Against LSU, Tennessee controlled the second and third sets after a competitive opener and finished with 60 points to LSU 42. The Lady Vols posted 48 assists and six aces in the sweep while holding the Tigers to a .245 hitting percentage.
Arkansas schedule release framed the mid-October home stand as a gauntlet of heavy hitters, sandwiching Tennessee between national powers and the SEC champions. For Tennessee, the Fayetteville stop is the first half of a demanding road weekend before the Vols return home later in the SEC slate.
First serve Friday is set for 8 p.m. ET at Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville, with live stats and streaming links posted through Tennessee athletics and the conference network package.
