The motorcycle journey will take riders through Knox, Jefferson, and Hamblen counties, covering three of the Isaiah 117 House’s 33 locations. Registration will occur at Rusty Wallace Honda on Callahan Road, where participants will gather before the ride. Riders will rev their engines at “Kickstands Up,” scheduled for 11 a.m., embarking on the designated route that includes a stretch along I-75 to I-40, then east to Andrew Johnson Highway 11E.
The entry fee for each participant is set at $20, which includes a charity ride T-shirt. As an added convenience, the Knox County Sheriff’s Office’s Tango unit and local police departments will escort the participants, ensuring a safe and organized ride.
Midway through the ride, participants will take a 30-minute break at Rusty Wallace Toyota in Morristown, where refreshments will be available. The total ride time is anticipated to be about 2.5 hours, after which riders will return to Callahan Drive.
Upon completion of their journey, attendees can look forward to a lively conclusion featuring live music and free food, creating an enjoyable atmosphere to celebrate their contributions.
