Celebrate with Dogwood Arts!

April is the month where Dogwood Arts, a local nonprofit, shines bright by celebrating the rich art and culture of East Tennessee. The month is packed with numerous exciting events.

  • Chalk Walk: Taking place on Saturday, April 5, this lively event from 8 AM to 7:30 PM will see over 300 artists transforming the downtown sidewalks into captivating works of art. It’s not just about artistry—you can also enjoy food trucks and a blooming beer garden!
  • Dogwood Trails: Explore the beautiful over 90 miles of scenic trails that highlight the charm of the area.
  • Open Gardens and Camera Sites: Available daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, this is your chance to soak in the vibrant flora.
  • Spring Featured Gardens and the Dogwood Arts Festival promise delightful sights and experiences.

The Chalk Walk is expected to draw over 30,000 attendees annually, offering various competitive categories for artists including Elementary, Middle School, High School, College, Adult, Family, and Sidewalk of Fame. With cash prizes and ribbons awarded by a panel of judges, it’s an event that encourages creativity among all ages. Dogwood Arts 70th Anniversary Celebration

Mark your calendars for a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 1 from 5 PM to 7:30 PM at Holston Hills Community Park, 1400 S Chilhowee Dr, Knoxville, TN 37914.
