Hosting this fantastic showcase is David Haley Lauver, who calls Farragut home and currently serves as the education and public relations director for the Knoxville Songwriters Association. He’s not just any host; Lauver co-wrote the Grammy-nominated song, “Appalachian Blue”, as well as another beloved track, “Jezebel”, which topped the charts in the Bluegrass genre.
Joining him will be the wonderful Karen Bowles, who hails from West Knox County and is also a dedicated board member of the Knoxville Songwriters Association. Bowles has a flair for creating music across various genres, including gospel and country, and was a co-writer on the same Bluegrass hit, “Appalachian Blue.” Talk about talent!
And let’s not forget Mitch Townley, an award-winning songwriter from Knoxville who brings his versatile skills to the stage. With over 70 independent artist cuts to his name and contributions to network TV and documentaries, Townley’s knack for songwriting spans country and Christian country genres.
